i need to lose 117 lbs in a year so any fun exercise tips? p.s i already know about cardio and aerobics thanks?

i really want to lose weight and look good what type of foods should i eat? please be specific and what should i cut out? also i want to get toned arms and i want a flat stomach my goal is to lose my weight by 2011 any help is appreciated =)

    you could try kick-boxing or normal boxing, yoga, gymnastics, and believe it or not tennis is a very good source of exercise

    hi! try to cut out some of the sweets, not all of them but just some. Try to set a limit for each day or week. If you can spend the money a wii fit is an amazing too, it helps you loose weight and shows your BMI. If you can’t afford it then go into magazines 17 has some really good work out tips that are easy and don’t need allot of extra stuff. Try going for walks everyday. Search for programs that are also fun for you.

    Eat foods as grown, not processed. No fatty meats, very meager dairy. Eat five or six smallish meals a day. Don’t eat after 6ish at night. Cardio EVERY day…weight lifting every day too. Because after you lose all that fat, you’ll need muscle to shape your body.

    Woahhh mann, 117 lbs in a YEAR is crazy.

    That’s like..the rate of the weight lost on The Biggest Loser. And they have personal trainers and super motivation & everything.

    Don’t use pills. Those pretty much never work & damage your liver and stuff.

    Eat healthily and exercise whenever possible. Instead of taking a bus somewhere, walk. Instead of using the escalator/elevator, take the stairs. The more, the betterrr!

    Cut down on soda and junk food. Don’t keep random snacks lying around your house out in the open, because that’ll just tempt you more.

    Go get a membership deal with a local gym and work on their exercise equipment a few times a week.

    Drink TONS of water…NEVER soda! Eat lots of fruits, veggies & whole grain ( in bread is amazing).

    My advice would be to join some kind of class/club. Exercising on your own is incredibly difficult, especially when you are out of shape to begin with. At least try and find someone as a partner who has the same goal as you. If you have fun and an external motivation you’ll do it, if you hate every second of it and treat it like work, you’ll quit in a month.

    Keep track of your food intake, exercise per day, and weight. Write this down, make a spread sheet or keep a journal. You’ll never be able to tell how far you’ve come without writing it down. It will keep you on track and motivated. When you see that first 10 or 20 drop off and you have proof, you’ll be ecstatic.

    Overall, remember, be patient. You have a very difficult goal. 117 lbs in a year is almost impossible. If it ends up that you aren’t on pace for 117, but are on pace for 50 lbs, that’s still excellent.
